What is Wam Shop?
Two things, same app. (1) Your virtual Visa card for shopping anywhere online. (2) A directory of Caribbean merchants you can discover and pay inside Wam — like a local marketplace, built into the wallet.
Does it cost anything to shop?
No. Your virtual Visa card is free to issue and free to use. There are no per-transaction fees on the card. The only cost is currency conversion if you spend in a non-USD currency, shown up-front before each transaction.
How do I list my business on Wam Shop?
If you already have a Wam for Business account, you can opt into the Wam Shop directory in one tap. We need a logo, a description, and your hours. Listings are free during our launch period.
What about chargebacks and disputes?
Visa chargebacks work normally for your card transactions. For Wam-to-Wam payments inside Wam Shop, we have an in-app dispute flow that resolves most cases without escalating to Visa rules.
Can my shop accept payments from non-Wam users?
Yes. The Shopify and WooCommerce plugins accept any payment method your customer prefers. Wam users get the one-tap experience; everyone else uses standard card checkout.
